Upcoming LHCSA Training: Emergency Preparedness Planning and Requirements, and Common Survey Deficiencies

(Oct. 15, 2024) The Department of Health (DOH) will hold another training session for Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs) this month. The topic for the one-hour webinar is Emergency Preparedness Planning and Requirements, and Common Survey Deficiencies.

The webinar is targeted to LHCSA Operators, Administrators, and Directors of Patient Services. The scheduled presenters are Alison Sczerbaniewicz, Area Office Director, and Lori Novak, Registered Nurse, Program Manager.

Participants will hear from experts in the Division of Quality and Surveillance on emergency preparedness planning and requirements directly impacting their organizations and learn about the common survey deficiencies cited for NYS home care agencies.
