Home Care Wage Parity Reporting Deadline Extended
The Department of Health (DOH) and its contractor, KPMG, met with home care providers and plans last week to announce that the Oct. 1, 2023 deadline to submit wage parity forms LS300 and LS301 has been extended and will likely be followed up with some revisions to the forms. No deadline has been set yet for submission of the forms. Under this requirement, downstate Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs) and Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services (CDPAS) Fiscal Intermediaries (FIs) must submit the Department of Labor (DOL) forms to Certified Home Health Agencies (CHHAs), Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plans, and Long Term Home Health Care Programs (LTHHCPs).
The Department stated that it will be issuing guidance regarding this deadline extension and will be issuing additional clarification, including agreed-upon procedures (AUPs) for the forms. It also stated that entities that have already submitted the LS300 and LS301 forms will not have to resubmit, even if modifications are made to the forms.
This wage parity reporting requirement pertains only to home care providers serving NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties.
LeadingAge NY will be sure to provide members with additional guidance as it is released.
