Congress Extends Hospice Face-to-Face Telehealth Flexibilities

(Jan. 7, 2025) At the end of 2024, Congress passed a Continuing Resolution (CR) preventing a government shutdown. The CR was drastically slimmed down from the original 1,500-page bill. Fortunately, it includes an extension of the telehealth flexibility for hospice face-to-face. The face-to-face telehealth extension will be through March 31, 2025, while the CR is through March 14, 2025. LeadingAge National will continue to track the extension and advocate for a longer extension.
