CMS Addresses Common Questions on HQRP

A new document entitled Common Questions – HQRP Claims-Based-Quality Measures: February 2021 is now available in the Downloads section of the Hospice Item Set (HIS) webpage. This document will give providers information and answers to some common questions about the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP), including changes in the draft HIS Manual V3.00, the new claims-based quality measure (QM) Hospice Visits in the Last Days of Life (HVLDL) replacing Hospice Visits When Death is Imminent (HVWDII), the Hospice Care Index (HCI), and HQRP in the future.
