2020 Home Care Cost Report Now Available for Completion
The Department of Health (DOH) opened the Home Care Cost Report on Aug. 16th. The Department's communication is provided below. Providers should note that DOH will require this year’s cost report to be fully complete with supporting documentation and submitted in a timely fashion. An Intelligence article that summarizes LeadingAge NY's meeting with DOH on cost report issues held in the spring is available here. DOH gave providers considerable leeway with last year’s reporting process, as it was the first year of the report, the data required may have been new for some providers, and COVID-19 was still a concern. This year will require full and timely submissions.
