State Selects 24 "Facilitators" to Support CDPAP Statewide FI
(Nov. 19, 2024) The Governor announced, on Nov. 12th, the selection of 24 community-based providers to support the new Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) statewide fiscal intermediary (FI). The facilitators will support onboarding to CDPAP; electronic visit verification (EVV) training; and compliance, utilization, and overtime monitoring. They will help to ensure that services are multilingual, culturally sensitive, and accessible to individuals with specialized needs.
As previously reported, the statewide FI, Public Partnerships, LLC (PPL), will fulfill the administrative and financial functions currently performed by over 100 FIs. It will be supported in its work by the 24 facilitators. It is anticipated that additional facilitators will be selected over the coming weeks. The initial group is:

The transition to PPL as the statewide FI is expected to begin in January upstate and be completed by April 1st. More information about the transition of CDPAP to a single FI is available here.
