Fiscal Intermediary Contract Award Date Extended to April 1, 2023

The Department of Health (DOH) has extended the “Anticipated Contract Award Date” for the recent Fiscal Intermediary (FI) Request for Offers (RFO) from Jan. 15, 2023 to April 1, 2023.

The final 2022-23 State Budget had included a provision that allowed lead FIs who were not selected under the original RFO and who served 200 or more Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) consumers in New York City or 50 or more CDPAP consumers in any other counties of New York State during the period Jan. 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020 to apply to continue to operate as FIs. They had to submit an Attestation form and supporting information, which DOH is still reviewing.
