DOH Holds Webinar on FMAP Funding for SADC Programs
On Nov. 16th, the Department of Health (DOH) held a webinar on Enhanced Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (eFMAP) funding being distributed by the Department through directed payments to social adult day care (SADC) programs.
The webinar reviewed the various documents released recently by the Department to Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plans. SADC programs should have received notice from one of their contracting MLTC plans about the funding opportunity along with the required attestation documents, quality measure details, and spending guidance that must be complied with to receive the funding. Attestations are due by Nov. 22nd for SADC programs.
LeadingAge NY will share the webinar recording and slides as soon as they are released. In the meantime, please refer to our previous Intelligence article on the opportunity.
SADC programs that contract with MLTC plans but have not received a communication about the offering should reach out to the Department at SADC.FMAP@health.ny.gov. If a program has received a communication about the offering from an MLTC plan with which it does not contract, the program should contact the Department. Be reminded that attestations are due by Nov. 22nd.
As programs submit attestations, please be sure to save documents and responses for documentation and timestamp purposes.
LeadingAge NY has submitted several questions regarding the funding opportunity and will share answers as they are received.
