DOH Posts New HCBS Rule Guidance and Person Centered Planning Template for Social Adult Dare Care Programs

(March 31, 2025) The State Department of Health (DOH) has posted a new Person Centered Service Planning (PCSP) template, guidance and User Guide for Social Adult Day Care (SADC) programs to assist program compliance with the federal Home and Community Based Services Rule.  Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plans should have shared the information with programs.

Some providers have expressed frustration with new language that expects SADC programs to have experience and knowledge in understanding medications and aspects of participants' health status.  Please feel free to reach out to share your concerns.
