Home Health Providers Notification from OMIG

LeadingAge NY was notified by the Third Party Liability (TPL) contractor, the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS), that the NYS Office of the Medicaid Inspector General sent out letters on March 4th. The letters are for the semi-annual demand billing process for claims for the second half of the FFY 2013 only. The claims selected for this initiative is for both fee for service and Episodic Payment System claims. In the letter it identifies which cases have been selected to undergo appeals.
