PHHPC approves another batch of CHHA applications

On Thurs., Oct. 11, the Public Health and Health Planning Council (PHHPC) met to discuss the recently submitted applications to establish or expand Certified Home Health Agencies (CHHAs) in multiple upstate and one downstate county. A list of the applications that were reviewed and forwarded for approval by the Establishment and Review Committee can be viewed here. All of the applicants that were submitted by the Establishment and Review Committee were approved by the PHHPC.

CHHA CON applications that have not been acted upon still have another opportunity. A Dear Administrator letter dated Sept. 17 was sent to applicants advising them on how to submit clarification or additional information as per the Section VII.D.5 of the Request for Applications. This opportunity is available until this Friday, Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. DOH still intends to make 30-day extensions available.
