CHHA Episodic Pricing Resources

The state intends to implement episodic payments for Certified Home Health Care programs starting on April 1, 2012.   A November Webinar hosted by DOH reviewed the new methodology. The Webinar slides are a valuable resource in understanding the calculations and are attached below.  Also attached is a billing guidelines document issued by DOH in early January as well as a Dear Administrator letter dated December 19^th addressing some of the billing system changes being made. 

The fourth attachment is the CHHA Episodic Payment Template that Leading Age NY has developed. Members can use this to model episodic payments by entering some key patient characteristics.
