Pediatric CHHA Medicaid Reimbursement Rates Posted by DOH

The Department of Health (DOH) Bureau of Residential Health Care Reimbursement has posted the 2020 rates and Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) to the DOH website and the Healthcare Financial Data Gateway for each non-hospital-based Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) which filed a properly certified, full-year 2018 cost report on a timely basis. These rates will be used for patients who are exempt from the Episodic Payment System (EPS). Please note that these rates include the minimum wage adjustment.

The Department will allow rate appeals to be filed within 30 days from the date of the DAL (see Attachment B of the letter). The payment for the Jan. 1, 2020 initial rates will be made in cycle 2243, with a check release date of Sept. 2, 2020.
