The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has published online the final Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS)-E Manual for home health agencies dated Jan. 1, 2023. Providers can also review changes to the manual here.

Home health members are encouraged to pay close attention to updated guidance in Chapter 3 regarding cognitive and mood screenings; health conditions; swallowing/nutritional status; medications; and special treatments, procedures, and programs.
