HCBS Members Urged to Complete HCA's State of the Industry Report

(Oct. 21, 2025) LeadingAge NY is urging its home and community-based services (HCBS) members to complete the Home Care Association of NYS' (HCA) annual State of the Industry Survey. Certified Home Health Agencies (CHHAs), Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs), Hospices, and Managed Long Term Care plans/Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (MLTC/PACE) statewide are encouraged to participate.

The information gathered from this annual survey will assist in providing a comprehensive analysis of home and community-based care in NYS. The analysis brings together data from various sources to present trends and challenges, as well as profiles of CHHAs, LHCSAs, Hospice and Palliative Care, and MLTC/PACE.

Complete the following steps to facilitate your survey submission:

1. Download the PDF version of the 2025-2026 HCA State of the Industry Survey here.
2. Distinguish a main contact within your organization to take responsibility for making sure that the survey is completed and submitted.
3. Review all questions to see if you need to delegate certain questions to appropriate staff on your team.
4. Once questions are complete, return to the online platform here to submit your answers.
