Free Webinar for Home Care and Hospice Providers

On Oct. 1, 2013, the U.S. Department of Labor announced a final rule extending the Fair Labor Standards Act's minimum wage and overtime provisions for home care workers. LeadingAge NY will host a webinar pertaining to the changes in the companionship exemption from wage and hour requirements. The presentation will cover the key implications of this rule and review the findings from a LeadingAge NY/Home Care Association survey that was sent to the membership to gauge the fiscal and administrative impact this rule may have on home care and hospice providers.
