DOH Grants Extension for 2015 Home Care Statistical Reports

LeadingAge NY previously notified members in October that the Department of Health (DOH) posted to the Health Commerce System (HCS) a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) with the timeframe for activating and completing the 2015 annual statistical reports for Certified Home Health Agencies (CHHAs), Long Term Home Health Care Programs (LTHHCPs), and Hospices. DOH has just announced that these surveys will remain available for completion through Jan. 10, 2017. This will give agencies that have not yet submitted an opportunity to complete the survey and avoid receiving a penalty for non-compliance.

Submission of these surveys is required for all CHHAs, LTHHCPs, and Hospices. Please complete and submit all forms in the survey activity.

DOH stated that, currently, 146 CHHA/LTHHCPs have completed the 2015 Statistical Report, which represents 76% of those agencies that received the survey. Additionally, 37 Hospices have completed the 2015 Cost and Utilization Report, which represents 82% of those Hospices that received the survey.
