Provider Reports for Hospices and CHHAs Due Feb. 1st
On Dec. 3rd, the Department of Health (DOH) issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) activating the 2017 Hospice Cost and Utilization Report and the 2017 Statistical Report for Certified Home Health Agencies/Long Term Home Health Care Programs (CHHAs/LTHHCPs.) The report will be activated and available for completion through Feb. 1, 2019. After Feb. 1, 2019, these reports will no longer be available.
These reports are used to collect qualitative and quantitative information used to make policy decisions regarding the home care industry. With the rapid changes occurring in the health care delivery system and the increased emphasis and reliance on the availability of home and community-based services, the availability of complete and accurate data is increasingly important. Please see the DAL for potential penalties and CON application consideration should providers not complete the reports.
