The Department will activate the 2010 CHHA/LTHHCP Statistical Report on the Health Commerce System (HCS) on June 10, 2013. The reports must be submitted by August 9, 2013. The CHHA/LTHHCP Statistical Report is used to collect information such as the number of visits and revenue by payor, the number of personnel employed, and the numbers of cases and visits by service and county.

The adopted rule aligns state and federal regulations and supports two MRT proposals.

CMS is reporting that national health spending in 2011 reached $2.7 trillion, growing at the same rate of 3.9 percent observed in 2010.

CMS has released the HHA PPS proposed rule for CY 2013. Several suggested changes include the Affordable Care Act, surveys, theraphies and face-to-face encounters.
