Natural Disaster Awareness for Senior Caregivers

On Jan. 8, DOH released through the Health Commerce System (HCS) a flyer for a Natural Disaster Awareness for Senior Caregivers training to be held on Jan. 23 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. The four-hour training will be held at the New York City Office of Emergency Management in Brooklyn.  Pre-registration is required.

According to the flyer, particular attention will focus on physical limitations, mental ailments, and medication requirements for seniors and their caregivers during a disaster.
