Please be advised that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved an 

extension of the Section 1135 waiver for providers affected by Hurricane Sandy through April 24, 2013. 

NYSDOH will send a letter to all providers early next week with more details. Thank you.
