Assisted Living Program (ALP) Regulations

The Assisted Living Program, or ALP, is held to several different regulations.  First, it must be licensed as either an Adult Home or Enriched Housing Program.  It must also follow ALP regulations, found in Title 18 NYCRR parts 494 and 505.35, which can be found here, searching by each part.  ALP reimbursement regulations can be found in Title 10 NYCRR part 86-7, which can be found here, again searching by the part. Lastly, an ALP must have a home care component, which is typically satisfied by having a licensed home care services agency or LHCSA.  Regulations for LHCSAs are found in Title 10 NYCRR, parts 765 to 766, here.
