Transitional Adult Homes Given Guidance on Compliance Plans

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) for operators of Transitional Adult Homes (TAHs) to provide additional guidance for the submission of plans to reduce their census of individuals with serious mental illness.  These compliance plans are required by regulation, and DOH directs TAHs to review the guidance and submit amended compliance plans by March 21, 2014 to DOH via email to transitionalah@health.state.ny.us.  Click here for the DAL and here for the additional guidance.
