Registration Now Open for ACF/AL Member Regional Meetings!
Registration is now available for the Western, Central and Capital Region LeadingAge NY Regional Meetings for adult care facility (ACF) and assisted living (AL) members. The regional meetings are an opportunity to receive updates on critical issues and network with other members in your region. We will also be requesting input from members on their priorities for our advocacy agenda for the year ahead. We are pleased to report that Department of Health (DOH) regional representatives have confirmed attendance for all but the Downstate Region thus far; we will keep members informed regarding their ability to join our Dec. 5th regional meeting in New York City, and when registration is available.
Additionally, in response to member requests to offer additional education opportunities locally, we have added a 1.5-hour session to each meeting entitled The Government and You. Presented by LeadingAge NY’s Ami Schnauber, Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy, this session will be an engaging interactive session that will provide critical information to be an informed citizen and effective advocate.
Members attending the regional meetings can obtain free ACF/AL continuing education credits, and NAB credit is available for a fee for those who need it. Registration is required.
