Registration Now Available for ACF/AL Central Region Meeting

Registration is now available for the adult care facility (ACF) and assisted living (AL) Central Region meeting. This meeting was rescheduled due to inclement weather; the new date is Jan. 17, 2019. The meeting will take place at the United Methodist Homes Hilltop Campus in Binghamton.

The regional meetings are an opportunity for members to receive updates on critical issues, network with other members in your region, discuss the LeadingAge NY advocacy priorities for the year ahead, and hear from your Department of Health (DOH) regional leadership.

In addition, in response to member requests to offer additional education opportunities locally, we have added an engaging interactive session that will provide critical information to be an informed citizen and effective advocate. This 1.5-hour session, entitled The Government and You, will be presented by LeadingAge NY’s Ami Schnauber, Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy.

Members attending the regional meetings can obtain free ACF/AL continuing education credits, and NAB credit is available for a fee for those who need it. Registration is required. Click here for more information and registration.
