OTDA Publishes 2025 SSI and SSP Maximum Monthly Benefit Levels Chart

(Nov. 19, 2024) The NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) has issued the 2025 Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and State Supplement Program (SSP) Maximum Monthly Benefit Levels Chart, which reflects the 2.5 percent federal cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) increase, effective Jan. 1, 2025, to the SSI benefit. The chart confirms our estimates for adult care facilities (ACFs) previously provided in this article. Unfortunately, the Department of Health (DOH) has not yet issued the Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) announcing the changes; however, the aforementioned article reminds providers of the notice and administrative requirements typically discussed in the annual DAL.
