LeadingAge NY Obtains Update on CHRC Funding for ACFs

LeadingAge NY spoke with the Department of Health (DOH) to receive an update on the status of the backlog of funding that is owed to adult care facilities (ACFs) for Criminal History Record Checks (CHRCs) conducted in 2018 and 2019. The Department plans to issue the funds for 2018 in early January 2020, with the 2019 funding to follow shortly thereafter. After those funds are disbursed, the Department plans to reimburse on a more regular schedule, such as monthly or quarterly.

Members are encouraged to let us know when those funds are received in January.
