Deadlines for Reports and Applications for ACF/AL Providers
Despite the fact that members are still very much dealing with COVID-19-related issues, the Department of Health (DOH) has begun resumption of some of the typical reporting activities and other opportunities that had been stalled due to the pandemic. Given how busy you are, LeadingAge NY provides a summary of the upcoming deadlines for adult care facilities (ACFs) to be aware of:
- The ACF Financial Report is due May 31st. Adult homes must also file a CPA certification with the report. Enriched housing providers should expect this requirement to be applied next year. We have been advocating for more flexibility regarding the certification; however, the Department has not granted any to date.
- DOH’s Electronic Incident Reporting Process is effective June 1st. Click here for more information and access to a recorded webinar on the new process.
- The Healthcare Personnel Influenza Vaccination Report must be electronically submitted to DOH by June 1st. This requirement applies to home care agencies, including those associated with assisted living programs (ALPs). Click here to view the Dear Administrator Letter (DAL).
- ALPs have the opportunity to expand their programs by nine beds or fewer, given certain conditions are met. Applications must be submitted by June 21st. Click here for more information.
