Application Deadline for IGNITE Leadership Academy Program This Fri., June 20th!
(June 17, 2025) The due date for the 2025-26 IGNITE Leadership Academy application is fast approaching! Applications are due this Fri., June 20th.
Why apply? Year after year, we hear from graduates about the significant impact it has had on their lives both professionally and personally. We have seen graduates excel in their careers and become more confident and more effective in their roles. While each person’s journey is unique, the experience is designed to provide participants with the tools they will need to build successful teams and be outstanding leaders in their organizations. The experience will help you better understand your role in the broader context of the field and give you opportunities to learn directly from successful leaders in the field. You will also forge connections that will last well beyond this year-long program.

The IGNITE Leadership Academy program was established in 2013 and is modeled after the national LeadingAge Larry Minnix Leadership Academy. Graduates of the national program recognized that this valuable program was needed on the state level to inspire, nurture, and empower leaders from NY’s non-profit provider community. Only employees of LeadingAge NY provider member organizations may apply for the program. It is designed specifically for our membership.
