CHRC Funds for ACFs Begins to Flow

LeadingAge New York continues to work diligently with DOH and the Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) bureau to ensure that ACF providers receive reimbursement for the record checks conducted since the requirement was enacted on Jan. 1, 2015. We have worked with many individual members to ensure the CHRC department has the information necessary to process your payment. We have learned that some members have received checks for the CHRC requests submitted for the first quarter of 2015. We had initially been told that all reimbursement would be submitted electronically, however all of the reimbursements we are aware of thus far have been by check. We ask members to keep us informed if they have not yet received payment, or if they receive payment for the remaining quarters of 2015. We want to ensure that providers are reimbursed, and that sufficient money is allocated in the State budget to do so.
