CHRC Access Issues?

LeadingAge NY has been working with the Department of Health (DOH) on a variety of workforce issues on behalf of our members. One issue that was raised by members who are subject to Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) requirements was lack of access to fingerprinting sites in local communities. It was reported that some sites closed during the pandemic, resulting in prospective employees having to travel significant distances, sometimes in locations with no public transportation.
