ALP Application Available

The Department of Health (DOH) issued the “Assisted Living Program (ALP) 3400 Initiative,” an Opportunity for Development (OFD). This is a competitive process by which entities can apply to be awarded ALP beds. This opportunity relates to language in past years' budgets, which expanded the ALP program by 6,000 beds. This would issue the remaining beds available under that initiative, which ends on Jan 1, 2017.

Questions regarding the opportunity must be submitted by Mon., April 13, 2015, no later than 3 p.m. Proposals are due by 3 p.m., Fri., May 22, 2015. This form and instructions, as well as other relevant information, can be accessed here.

Members that are interested in operating ALP beds in the near future should review the opportunity carefully because the preocess is competitive and we are uncertain when another opportunity may arise.
