All ACFs Must Submit Incident Reports Electronically Starting TODAY, June 1st
Adult care facility and assisted living members are reminded that effective today, June 1st, the Department of Health (DOH) is requiring the electronic submission of Incident Reports. Click here for more information and access to a recorded webinar on the new process.
We learned today that, unfortunately, data entered on the Health Commerce System (HCS) e-Incident forms cannot be copied and pasted from Word. Doing so prevents all of the information on the form from being visible after the form is submitted. The Department reports that data can be typed directly into the form fields, or it can be copied and pasted from Notepad or TextPad.
