ACFs Are Reminded That Incident Reporting Must Be Submitted on New Platform Effective May 1st
Adult care facility (ACF) and assisted living members are reminded that the Department of Health (DOH) issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) announcing that ACFs will now submit reportable incidents to DOH via a new Drupal survey, rather than submitting via the Health Commerce System (HCS). Submission via the new process on Drupal will be required to report incidents effective May 1, 2023. DOH has developed a PowerPoint and recorded webinar to demonstrate the submission process and has updated the ACF Incident Reporting Manual to provide instruction and further clarify reporting requirements. A Resident Comment Form, DOH-5789, has also been developed.
