LeadingAge NY brings member concerns to DOH for discussion.

Group will be focusing on the development of needs-based application process.

Much of the meeting focused on the development of a needs-based application process for the ALP.

EQUAL application coming soon and NARCAN training expected in Oct.

Comments support overall conclusions but raise concerns regarding the overly broad application of the rule.

Focused sub groups have been developed to dive into specific issues and report back to the larger work group. LeadingAge NY provides a summary of the issues discussed thus far. 

Despite the conclusion of the workgroup, some issues remain unsettled.

Workgroups set up to tackle specific topics, including improving process for submitting safety plans on NYSECON for routine projects.
