COVID-19 Updates from NYC DOHMH
LeadingAge NY participates in regular calls with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) regarding COVID-19. It was reported on the Jan. 26th call that data is starting to show suggestion of a decline in cases; however, they are awaiting some additional data to confirm. The positivity rate, hospitalization rate, and death rate remain stable. There remain certain hotspots in the city; more information and data regarding this and additional NYC COVID-19 data can be viewed here. This page shows the number of people who have received their first vaccination as well as those who have received both shots. Currently, supply of vaccine is limited, but NYC DOHMH is anticipating additional shipments soon.
