DOH Updates ACF Legal Services and Community Resources Guide

(June 4, 2024) The Department of Health (DOH) issued an updated adult care facility (ACF) Legal Services Agencies and Community Resources Providing Resident Advocacy Services Guide. As the accompanying Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) explains, regulation requires that, in addition to the Notice of Termination, an ACF must provide the resident a list of agencies, including the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, that provide free legal services and agencies engaged in resident advocacy services within the ACF’s geographic vicinity.
