DOH Issues Guidance Regarding Private Pay Home Care Services in ALRs

The Department of Health (DOH) issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) clarifying policy regarding the use of private pay home care services in assisted living residences (ALRs). The DAL references the previously issued guidance on the use of companions in adult care facilities (ACFs), which can be found here. We are seeking some further clarification from DOH on the guidance, so members are encouraged to let us know what questions you have.
