DOH Issues DAL Regarding CHRC Fingerprinting Appointment Timeframes

The Department of Health (DOH) recently issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) regarding the criminal history record check (CHRC) program. The DAL announces that a prospective employee must be scheduled for their fingerprint appointment within 21 days of receiving the initial LiveScan. If the preferred location to attend a fingerprint appointment is not available, the provider must review alternate locations.

Members are encouraged to let us know if they are having any difficulty with the CHRC program, access to sites, scheduling of fingerprinting, or other issues.
