DOH Issues Annual Warm Weather Advisory for ACFs

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued the annual warm weather advisory Dear Administrator Letter (DAL). The DAL outlines the regulatory requirements for all adult care facilities (ACFs) regarding ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents during the warm weather months. The DAL also provides steps to be taken by ACFs to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and resources regarding side effects of medications to be aware of during the warm weather months.
