ABSTRACT: Letter discusses role of companions and related ACF responsibilities.

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a Dear Administrator letter (DAL) regarding companion care in adult care facilities (ACFs).  The DAL discusses the role of the companion, and the ACFs’ responsibilities in relation to that individual.  The letter can be viewed on the ACF page of the Health Provider Network (HPN), and as an attachment at the bottom of this screen for your convenience.
