DOH Notifies EALRs of Requirement to Document Employment in Home Care Registry

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) regarding the requirement for Enhanced Assisted Living Residence (EALR) operators to document employment of advanced home health aides, home health aides, and personal care aides within the Home Care Worker Registry (HCWR). The DAL includes a slide deck which provides contextual information and guidance regarding use of the HCWR. EALRs must have all requisite information added to the HCWR by Dec. 31, 2019. DOH contact information is included in the slide deck.
