DOH Issues SNALR Cost of Care Survey for Voucher Program

(June 24, 2024) The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) (DACF #24-14) regarding the Special Needs Assisted Living Residence (SNALR) Voucher Program. The DAL announces that the Cost of Care Survey has been activated to collect data used to inform the parameters of the program and update the monthly voucher rate. According to DOH, this survey must be completed by all Assisted Living Residences that are certified as SNALRs, regardless of whether the facility participates in the SNALR Voucher Program. The deadline for completing the survey is July 19, 2024.
