OMIG Releases Audit Protocols for the Assisted Living Program

The Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) has just released their audit protocols for the Assisted Living Program (ALP). These protocols are designed to assist providers in developing programs to evaluate compliance with Medicaid requirements under federal and state laws and regulations.  LeadingAge New York has engaged in considerable advocacy regarding the OMIG's procedures.  We encourage members to let us know if you do experience an audit.
