Home Care, Nursing Home and Hospice Organizations Must Submit Report by Nov. 15

Nursing homes, home care (including home care agencies associated with ALPs) and hospice organizations must document the number and percentage of personnel vaccinated against influenza for the current season and report this information to DOH electronically on the Health Electronic Response Data System (HERDS) on the Health Commerce System (HCS) at https://commerce.health.state.ny.us/.  The first report is due by Nov. 15, 2013. A subsequent report will likely be due at the end of the influenza season.
