DOH Says ARPA Funds Coming Soon for ADHC and ALP Providers

(June 25, 2024) On June 21st, the Department of Health (DOH) communicated to adult day health care (ADHC) and assisted living programs (ALPs) that payments are being loaded for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grants to support workforce development and individualized community integration. Successful applicants should receive formal notice of their grant amount this week. The Department directs providers to await spending funds until their formal notice and further instructions are provided. The Department also reported that ARPA grant recipients will have until July 31, 2025 to fully expend these funds according to their DOH-approved spending plans. This reflects an extension due to the delay in loading payments. DOH also reminded that providers will be required to submit quarterly reports and get approval of any substantive changes to spending plans in advance.
