Audio Program April 9 on ALP Opportunity for Development

With the long-awaited "Opportunity for Development (OFD)" for Assisted Living Program (ALP) beds now available, LeadingAge New York wants to help members be successful in this competitive application process. On Thurs., April 9, from 3 - 4:30 p.m., we will hold a free audio conference for members-only to provide guidance on the application process.  Time will be provided at the end of the call for questions and answers.  If you are unable to participate at that time, the call will be recorded. Click here to register.

This opportunity is much broader than past solicitations which prioritized the development of “new capacity.”  In contrast, this application would also allow the expansion of existing ALPs or the conversion of adult care facility beds to ALP.  Given that increased flexibility, there is greater opportunity for members, and with that greater competition. We urge any member interested in accessing ALP beds in the near future to listen to the presentation and consider submitting an application, as we are uncertain about future solicitations.

To get the most out of the presentation, members are encouraged to review the application in advance. The application and related materials can be viewed here.  It is important to note that all questions to DOH about this opportunity must be submitted to DOH by Mon., April 13, 2015 by 3 p.m. Click here for additional details and considerations regarding the ALP OFD.

This call is for provider-based LeadingAge New York members, only as a free member benefit.  Registration is required.  No credit is available for the program. Participants will receive an email with the dial-in information and the presentation materials in advance of the call.
