Analysis of Federal Rule Impact on ALPs Which are Co-Located with NHs

LeadingAge NY has been reporting on the final rule regarding Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) provided through federal waivers, and how we anticipate it will affect the delivery of services.  LeadingAge NY counsel, Hinman Straub, has conducted further analysis of the rule as it may impact the provision of Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) services provided in assisted living that is adjacent to, in the same building as, or on the same campus as a nursing home.  Members can access the analysis here.

LeadingAge NY will keep members apprised of developments related to the rule, and plans to work with the New York State Department of Health on implementation.  For more information about the rule, click here.
