ALPs Must Complete LHCSA Statistical Report by Aug. 9

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL), announcing the availability of the Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) Statistical Report, as well as some changes to the report. It should be noted that recent updates to the HCBC application may have removed the HCBC link from your menu, thus affecting your ability to follow the instructions in the DAL. If you are unable to locate the HCBC link in your "My Applications" menu, please follow these instructions to restore the link.

1. Click the 'Applications' Tab at the top of the screen.
2. Click the 'H' link to view applications beginning with the letter H.
3. Locate 'Home and Community Based Care (HERDS)' in the list of applications
4. Click the green '+' sign at the end of that entry.

The deadline for submitting the reports is Fri., Aug. 9, 2013. Click here to view the DAL. You may send questions about the report submission via e-mail to hcstatrpts@health.state.ny.us.

The Commerce Training Institute (CTI) will be offering web-based training on the HCS survey tools on which all of the statistical reports are built. This training will be available during the period in which this statistical report will be collected.
