ALP Minimum Wage Survey Due Feb. 4th

The Department of Health (DOH) has posted a survey to collect data that will be used to reconcile 2017 minimum wage funding. Submitted data indicating actual need will be compared to the funding distributed through the rate. The survey must be completed and submitted along with an attestation by close of business on Mon., Feb. 4th. Please note that ALL programs, whether impacted by minimum wage or not, are required to complete and submit the reconciliation supplement and attestation. As with prior minimum wage surveys, providers are required to report paid hours by wage band. Note that this funding can only be used to increase wages that are below minimum wage to the new minimum wage level and to pay for any accompanying wage-sensitive benefit cost increases.

This serves as a notification that the 2017 ALP Minimum Wage Reconciliation Survey has been released. A Dear Administrator letter is attached to this email with specifics. You can access the survey by following the link:

Surveys must be completed by COB February 4, 2019.

Also, posted on the Health Department site is the calculation of the 2017 ALP Minimum Wage. There are three separate spreadsheets posted: New York CityWestchester/Long Island and Rest of State. You will find the calculation for your facility listed by provider number. The Health Department site link is:
